i was supposed to do IM China last March...gamay na lang to, maka bayad na unta pero i was not prepared with training so changed to IM philippines na lang this year.

Maybe next year mu suicide ko sa China. I spoke with Chris A. about it last year and he might consider joining it this year. Kinsa diay lain mu join joecax?

$400 ang reg fee for early bird if i remember it correctly.

Thanks guys!  I was lucky and was able to regster @ 12:45pm EDT.
After 15 minutes I checked the registration link again and it was sold out!  Shocked

Any full Iron distance triathlon is hard, but Lake Placid is considered to be one tough course with bike total elevation gain up to 7,900 ft.

See comparison of 23 Ironman bike course avergage finish times - http://www.runtri.com/2010/07/toughesteasiest-ironman-triathlon-bike_13.html
See also comparison of 23 Ironman run course average finish times - http://www.runtri.com/2010/07/toughesteasiest-ironman-triathlon-262.html

Good luck also to those who will be doin IM China, I heard it is brutally hot!

hmm.. i think dili na the same venue ang IMCN.

This year kay sa island. Haikou, Hainan Island.
Pero next year kay sa Jixian, Tianjin  China. Upper na china. Central.
  >> Basin needing na ni wet suit kay bugnaw na ni. Lake man ning sa Jixian. http://ironman.com/events/ironman/china#axzz0vaugbUYM

This year pag March, paso' itlog nato pag sa IMCN.. next year May 11, kuyos na!

Jess Soco, probably the first cebuana to finish an ironman
http://ironzip.com/athp.php?athlete_id=A0441252
She has roots here in cebu and she's been in the US for 21 years already.
She was here during the Cebu Marathon for a vacation.
