so my newbie's comment on my 1st triathlon race: very chaotic kaau ang swim start. since alanganin pa jud ko ug mileage sa swimming, nahurot na akong hangin pagsugod pa lang sa swim tungod sa mga boxing outs, zigzags, sinikaray, etc. it was fun though... hehe.  survival mode nalang ko the rest of the way, with the help of the buoy and the rope.  i think pag start nako sa 2nd loop, naa na nahoman sa swim.

it was a well organized race though, particularly pag manage sa traffic esp. sa mga turn-arounds.  also, filipino hospitality at its best: daghan nag offer ug water ug ice gikan sa mga tambay ug mga manangs kilid sa run route.

a swim leg in the triathlon is supposed to be that way, that is the only part of the race where it has to be physical.. thats why triathlon is part contact sport because of the swim leg.. if you observe the swim leg in ironman races, youd be thinking manny pac, and floyd is out in that water.

ma minimize unta ang contact kung dli pa triangle loop pero lisod na buhaton sa danao kay medyo lawm na ang turning point. ma discourage nya mga newbies
