What do you guys think, will he really do it or just talk? Maybe after this year's TDF...which he's looking for another win. If he does IM Hawaii, it will be a special ticket for him to enter and will be good for our sport. I'm no Lance fan but i think he can still pull a top 3 finish in his age group.

Oh, found this also but not sure if this is really The Chris Carmichael...if so, guess he will be there on 2011 and he's not racing his age group. Looks like he want a piece of the action PRO style! Very good for the sport.

Armstrong Reiterates Plans To Compete At Ironman World Championship

Cyclist Lance Armstrong has once again claimed he plans to be on the starting line of the Ironman World Championship in Kona, Hawaii the year after his final Tour de France appearance. He is unsure if he will be racing in Kona in 2011 or 2012. The prospect of racing at the most famous triathlon in the world has come up in many of Armstrong’s recent press conferences. The seven-time Tour de France winner is currently in Australia preparing with his team (Team RadioShack) for next week’s Tour Down Under. Prior to heading to Australia, Armstrong spent a few weeks in Hawaii training on the Ironman World Championship course in Kona.

On the prediction of where he will finish among the professionals, Armstrong said: “I don’t know I could be top three, top five or top 10, but anyway, I want to come and finish.”

- top 3? top 10? Can he really on his first try? we'll never know...anything is possible with him but im still no lance fan but good to know he is going back to his first love and that is triathlon...good for the sport though.
