kusgan na daan si bagiuo. solid ug core stregth hehehe.. cge man na cla LSD uban taga abellana boys.

ngandoy ko sub4 ko sa marathon next year. hehehe.....

franz is running with rico, lorhiz and me. pero december nko nka kyog nila..
na challenge mn gud si franz ug rico kay some runners sa abellana doubted triathletes' capability of finishing a marathon
in fact, one coach asked them kung mka human ba kaha cla.
we all know they did so with an exclamation point!
how i wished i was asked the same question Grin

btaw the sugbutri sub 4 club really raised the flag high for sugbutri.

bai joecax kinsa nga coach bai? i pm lang nako  Cheesy Grin

Sibugay Trail

dli lang pud unta i underestimate ang mga triathletes. to think triathlete trains like a runner, like a swimmer and like a cyclist. running is just a part of being a triathlete so no reason why a triathlete cant finish a marathon.  Smiley Smiley

i think lance armstrong was a pro triathlete before he focused more on cycling..

and I think a Full Iron man is a full marathon(42 klms) after swimming for 3.8 klms and biking for 180 klms..

sus.. siguru sipyat lang to... or wa lang sila kasabot sa kakolba ninyu mga triathletes..

mga idol.. pasayloa na ninyu sila.. hehehehhehehe

correct bai, lance was a triathlete and was the junior champion before turning into cycling. same as Spencer Smith who tried it also as a pro cyclist but didn't come close to making anything.

i do agree that triathletes are not the best swimmer, cyclist or runner but they can mix the 3 well. I remember reading a pro runner saying he wants to beat the 2:40 marathon split at Ironman Hawaii which for him was slow, well as expected - he didn't break it, i don't even think he crossed the line.

with all the running shoe technology, scientific training and better nutrition, nobody can still beat the 2:40 marathon time of the six time ironman champion, Mark Allen aka "The Grip".

The run record still stands today.

@ axl: ingnon ra nya tika bai. but if ako na ingnan ato mgpasalamat ko ato na coach kay mao to nkapa motivate to train harder.

Lance Armstrong's first marathon was a 2:59 in NYC. His 2nd marathon time is 2:46. His Boston Marathon time is 2:50 where he admitted he didn't train properly! Shocked

wow! Lance can still run fast but Laurent Jalabert (ex-procyclist) beat him to the line i think. I think Jaja already did the Ironman Hawaii last year, or did he not? Huh
