Today i have registered for the 2nd edition of the Philippine Ironman. I am now committed to 8 months of training again and i hope i can stay focus on it. I am hoping of running this time the whole 21K at a reasonable pace. The past 2 HI i did way back in the 90's was always a disaster, walked most of the way after doing well on the swim and bike.

I am doing this because i see there is already a need. I have again gained so much weight that i have to do something and i guess paying for $175 entrance fee is a first step and a good reason to stick with the plan till August.

Anyone who is CamSur bound, please let me know, maybe we can schedule our trainings for swim, bike and run. I will try to convince Chris Aldeguer, Ian Gonzaga, Roger Cuenco and Jun Villamor to join me again in this wonderful but atrocious race.

way blema, mu balik ko base so this means no speed work yet but will try to build up the distance for the 3 disciplines. On Sunday ride, will build and do Catmon and back lang, this will be the farthest i will go tingale kay lahi na naa pamilya kay naa nay mag huwat unlike before when we can ride our bikes the whole day and don't give a damn.

rap, ayaw na paghuwat ug sponsor...look for sure ways aron daghan ta didto mangi-hi sa starting line! Grin

I usually run at cempark on a tues, thurs and fri...maybe will add 1 more day for the run. will definitely squeeze a brick training when mugamay gamay na, if ever.  run is very important for a HI distance kay running a 21K at around 11am to about 2pm is no joke...the heat will be very intense.

anyway, hope more cebuanos will join this edition! calling camsur veterans like anton, ric and others...this time hope maka uban na gyud ko!
