It's not about the shoes

« on: November 16, 2009, 01:19:59 PM »

"The History Channel was among the many sponsors of the Manny Pacquiao-Miguel Cotto fight Saturday at the MGM Grand Garden Arena, which, in an odd sort of way, was appropriate." -Kevin Iole, Yahoo Sports

“He’s the best fighter I have ever seen and that includes Ali, Marvin Hagler and Sugar Ray Leonard,” -Bob Arum

"Just look out for his left hand," Cotto's trainer, Joe Santiago, told his fighter. "It's all he's got."

in battle, there is no goliath big enough for a david, no cotto big enough for a pacman.
but with love, size does matter. it might be offensive, but a bigger d*** and a bigger stash of money will always prevail.

"In the end, it's extra effort that separates a winner from second place. But winning takes a lot more that , too. It starts with complete command of the fundamentals. Then it takes desire, determination, discipline, and self-sacrifice. And finally, it takes a great deal of love, fairness and respect for your fellow man. Put all these together, and even if you don't win, how can you lose?"

Strength does not come from physical capacity. It comes from an indomitable will and it is a matter of the made-up mind.
