mao ni cut-off time sa AVIVA. http://www.ironman703singapore.com/index.php?mact=News,cntnt01,detail,0&cntnt01articleid=175&cntnt01origid=79&cntnt01detailtemplate=default&cntnt01dateformat=%25d%20%25b%20%25Y&cntnt01returnid=79
The Aviva Ironman 70.3 Singapore is raced in and around the CBD of Singapore. Please note that the race is a major qualifying event to the Foster Grant Ironman World Championship 70.3 and also to the Asia-Pacific Ironman 70.3 Championship.

In order to create a fair and competitive atmosphere for those looking to qualify; 100% of the course must be completed in under 8h30mins in order for each individual to be classified as a finisher.

However, please note that it is imperative that we hand the course roads back to the Singapore community as early as is physically possible and to this end cut offs are established for the disciplines in this race in similar time frames as for many other Ironman 70.3 races.

The swim cut-off in Singapore will be at 1h10mins after the wave start of each individual and team member. Competitors must complete both laps, without short-cutting the course. Competitors not completing the course will not be allowed to continue in the race.

The bike cut off is 5h after each individual's swim start, however please note there will be two intermediate cut offs on the bike course.

The first will be after Lap 2 and is located at the Big Splash turn to come into effect at 11.25am and the second is at the far turn point of the bike course at 12.00pm.Any competitor not commencing Lap 3 before 11.25 am will be stopped from continuing in the race.

All competitors who fail to complete the course will have their competition numbers crossed with a red Texta pen to denote a DNF due to failure to complete the course.

Please note that any competitor who fails to complete 100% of the Aviva Ironman 70.3 Singapore course or short cuts the course will be classified as a DQ. Non-finishers are not eligible to collect either a finisher's medal or a finisher's shirt.
