from the organizers

As you are probably finalizing your travel arrangements to CamSur for our August race, we thought it would be best to give you some helpful information.

Due to Air Philippines Express decision to change Naga bound aircrafts to smaller planes, flights to Naga cannot accommodate bikes anymore. This is the same situation with Cebu Pacific. Naga bound flights land at Pili Airport - approximately 5 minutes from race site.

On the other hand, flights to Legaspi are able to take in bikes for both Philippine Airlines and Cebu Pacific. The Legaspi airport is 1 hour 30 minutes away from race site/ Villa del Rey and approximately 2 hours from other official hotels Avenue, Manor, Villa Caceres, Regent and CBD.

For those who will choose the Legaspi Flights, we will have standby buses and trailers to accommodate you and your bikes for USD 30 round trip.

For those who will opt to take the Naga flights, we will have a bike check in facility for inland transportation to Naga and back at the Dusit Thani Manila on August 19.

Rate for Round Trip Inland transportation inclusive of insurance and transportation is USD 40

In- Land Transportation to CamSur

         1. Bike check-in for Inland Transportation is from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm on August 19 only.
         2. Note that we will only accept bikes packed in BIKE CASES.  Unpacked bikes will NOT be accepted. This rule will be strictly implemented.
         3. Your bike cases should be properly locked and labeled with your name and contact details.
         4. The trucks will be leaving Dusit at 7:00 pm on August 19 to ensure that your bikes arrive at race venue early morning of August 20.
         5. There will be a release window at  CWC for bike claim.

In-Land Transportation back to Manila

         1. Bike check-in for in-land transportation back to Manila is available on August 22 ( from 12 nn to 5:00 pm) and August 23 (from 9 am to 5:00 pm).
         2. Note that we will only accept Bikes packed in BIKE CASES. Unpacked bikes will NOT be accepted. Again, this will be strictly implemented.
         3. The trucks will leave CamSur at 7:00 pm on August 22 and August 23 to ensure your bikes arrive back at Dusit early morning of August 23 and August 24.
         4. We will be using the same rooms at Dusit Thani for the bike claim
         5. Bike claim will be closed on August 24, 5pm

in my opinion no, dli na kaayo friendly ang pag travel to camsur. Minus pogi points. nindot tag maka request sila og bigger airplanes just for d race mski for a few days lang... I know its easier said than done but still it is an inconvinience and may turn off potential interested participants.

im thinking of getting a van plus driver aron dili ta mang laspag plus we dont know how to go there. i think some of the athletes from Manila will be going there by land. mas comfortable sab nato and for the bikes.

we can rent and divide the cost...lingaw pa ta biyahe by van. anyway, this is what i am really thinking, kung naa ninyo ganahan mu buhat ani, ato nya tanawon kung possible ba.

This might help http://www.extribe.com.ph/downloads/transpo_accomodation.pdf

Hiring a ride might be expensive but i think it will do.

If i'm not mistaken, if mag bus, it starts from Cubao or Quezon city. Paranaque city where the airport is is far far from cubao or quezon city. Maybe drop off your bike at dusit hotel in makati and then take a bus from the said terminals. I heard it's a 7hour bus ride.

i think i'll do this chono. fly to manila then rent a van with a driver and convoy with other manila athletes...murag mas lingaw ni plus i get to see the province. if it's 7 hours ride, then it's not that bad.

ill check around how much the cost is...maybe mao ra sa mu palit ug plane ticket. free ba ang bike sa plane? going to Lagaspi though is also an option if cost is cheaper.
