I would like to welcome a new member, one who holds many podium finish and just recently whiterock half ironman champion a good friend and drinking buddy!! pare kapatid! ArlandMac! arlanstadler the man!!

Born September 22, 1975 Belleville, NJ to parents Roland and Teresita, 1 other older sibling by two years is Melissa.


Early Years:

Played Little League Baseball, was member of Town Championship team twice Member of All Star Team twice. Won 10-and-under and 12-and-under awards.
Played guard for St Thomas the Apostle School Basketball, Bloomfield, NJ; 1988 Team went undefeated 28-0.


High School Years:

Attended Seton Hall Preparatory School, West Orange, NJ.
Ran JV and varsity cross country 4 years; captain of XC senior year.
Ran varsity indoor track 4 years, specializing in 800 M sprint and 2 mile relay.
Played varsity tennis 4 years; played for all state doubles team in 1992.

College Years:

Attended Rutgers University, New Brunswick, NJ.
Was member of cycling team for 3 years.
Co-founded Road Runners Club.
Was member of masters swim team and RU Capoeira
Acted as Sports Director of Rutgers Association of Philippine Students


Recent:

Graduated from Montclair State University with Masters of Arts in Exercise Science
Master's Thesis examined the effect of variable crank length on steady state cycling


Hobbies and Interests:

Enjoys the cinema, reading books by Joseph Campbell, going to museums, martial arts, dance, and speed-skating (look out for Arland in 2006!)

Thanks Dax!  and for the warm intro - glad to be on board to help out the Cebu Tri community in any way.  Cebu is very special to me - the first tri I ever won was an olympic distance tri in Toledo way back in 2000.   Looking forward to hearing from you guys soon!

keep it comming!! nice old pic.. chono you might have some more file going back to 97' sibonga triathlon race.. it was my first race over with a mountain bike.. so fun..

I didn't find sibonga photos at eugene's yesterday. I hope he still have the negative films. I will check them out soon Smiley

well arland told me about it.. guess rj knew it from noy.. nway il do a ride to Miss B tom. 6am any takers? after the limb maybe spin to cordova then relax for a good halloween party in the evening.. tara!!

was supposed to join team msn w/ noy & arland sa matabungkay, but ryt after WR w/ my health condition,i cancelled w/ noy, as well as my plane tickets, sayang i was looking forward to the race w/ the big guns of executive cycling
