Hi El Toro,

What was advertised was that the 200 registration will include a SUN SIM pack and a singlet which unfortunately did not happen. I emailed Dr. Yong Larrazabal about it and he explained why there were not enough singlets and SUN SIM   I just hope it gets better next time... -

tsk tsk tsk! maybe all CDU staff are on sun now! So what was his explanation?  Huh

Murag commitment run nga the participants will help keep the elections clean and honest.  Murag dunay mga politicians daw modagan.  Wa man klaro kay they only announced this week. -

a clean and honest election in the PI? realistically, I don't think it's going to happen. off with their heads!

His explanation was that only 200 sim packs were given by sun. Not sure if it was 2,000 or 200 because based on the email I got there were 5,000 runners including the students. They didn't anticipate the participants and the singlet makers also cannot make it on time that's why they didn't have enough singlets and SUN sim packs. Well, at least he replied to my email and said he will passed on the feedback to the other doctor.

See you all tomorrow!!!

they should have reduced the reg fee. it was clearly published in the newspapers that sun sim packs plus singlet will be given to all those who registered. the organizers were not prepared. they knew that CDU student-participants alone would number at least 3,000. if they can't deliver they shouldn't have promised. if we help their cause, they should return back the favor. lisod man gud mutagam ang cebu running community ani. it won't help the sport. in the end ang organizers ra ang alaut

agree! so true!

hehehe! I went there with my office mate. I was wearing the singlet. I ran 10k 'twas my second time. According to the map it was 10.22k. The 4th university run was just 9.1k so I thought I coudn't make it. My official time was 1 hour and 5 minutes. Next time I won't run 10k yet. I'll have to work on my pace first before I run 10k... although it was fun!

I just thought that they should've added more water stations. The first water station was unprepared, you have to pour the water yourself. Overall though, it was ok considering that it was their first time to organize a run. Support was also ok. You can see marshalls everywhere. Yun nga lang, cross the street at your own risk pa rin... hehehe
