Bai RJ,

Any words from nogie about tambuli? Tambuli might look our mini tri as something big.

I think we need to set a goal for November: venue should be secured by end of month. If we intend to do more mini tri's in tambuli then we should express our intentions. If we/i need to go there then i have to see it coming so that i can plan.

you know what i could also suggest like a sunday mini race it could be held also in the city.. we could swim in holiday gym il ask for permission for it.. then after the swim, we bike up to tops of or to mactan then back to holiday in preparation for a run to cempark or i.t park whichever we would prefer we could have both of best world for it... a flat bike course and a hard uphill saddle...  Wink think about it..
and to organize for an o.w  "open water" tambuli would be best like ones every month or two months whichever..

Here are photos of Blue Reef and Ocean Pearl. Both are located at Tonggo, Mactan Island. By the way Ocean Pearl is labeled as Ocean Park in this site.
http://www.ngkhai.net/cebupics/thumbnails.php?album=topn&cat=-2&page=1

I have the numbers of the two resorts but Ocean Pearl's number didn't work. Anybody here knows please post it.

So our probable venues for the pipti pipti tri are:
1. Tambuli (by Nogie through RJ)
(resorts below are a visit or phone call away)
2. Hadsan
3. Blue Reef
4. Ocean Pearl
5. Tonggo beach

Blue Reef
COTTAGE
P400 - 20 pips max, 8 pips free entrance, every excess is P30/head
P600 - 25 pips max, 12 pips free entrance, every excess is P30/head
P800 - 30 pips max, 16 pips free entrance, every excess is P30/head

If we can't get Tambuli, we will end up spending more than pipti pisos.

When I bikeout next time to mactan island, i will stop over these resorts to extract more info. I would be glad if someone posts any info here if they have something. Contact number too will be very helpful.

Na unsa naman ni na topic?
Mag January 2009, wala pa gihapon tay official venue.
All I can say is that if we can't get a free venue, we'll have to spend more than pipti pesos. If thats the case, we have to rename pipti pipti to something else.

I guess I am just excited thats why i am reacting too early. Actually, this is one of the agenda that needs to be talked about during our planned meeting. The meeting was suppose to be today but got posponed. Paul Ancla told me that he knows a possible venue but I still need to confirm. I'll get in touch with him today.

Paul suggested Karancho Beach Resort. I checked it out on the web and it seems to look good. I just need to dig some more information. I'll update once i got them.
