Officially Announced  Wink

http://ironman.com/mediacenter/pressreleases/ironman-70.3-putrajaya-and-cobra-ironman-70.3-philippines-announced

About the Race

The inaugural Ironman 70.3 Philippines will be at the Camarines Sur Water Park Complex (CWC) with international wakeboarding facilities and a skate park. Participants and their families can enjoy the facilities at the park as well as other attractions within the Naga and nearby islands.

Participants will swim in two man made lakes, one loop in the small lake and one loop in the big lake before heading off to transition.

The bike course is an out-and-back ride, mostly flat with a view of mountains, rice paddies, lots of trees and green space. The turnaround point has a view of the ocean.

The first 10 km of the run includes a view of rice paddies and the mountain, followed by a stretch along the national highway. The run is also mostly flat with some hilly areas. The weather is expected to be sunny, with a temperature that shouldn't exceed 32 degrees Celsius.

The finish will be at CWC beside the infinity pool with a view of one of the man made lakes.

For more information on CWC, check www.camarinessur.gov.ph

bai cerrone, apil ka sa 70.3 camsur?

Wish I could join, but I already signed up for a 70.3 Ironman the same day in New Hampshire.    I Believe Chris McCormack will be joining the race too in NH.

I'm pretty sure naa pud mga pro athletes mo join diha sa CamSur, I know Bree Wee want's to race in the Philippines,  I'll shot her an e-mail and maybe she will join.

Join namo ni Anton - it's very well worth the experience!!!
