Hi Guys,

i am new to the sport. Been into swim and run . to complete, i need a bike na lng. however, i really confused if i will get a road bike or a mountain bike.

In cebu setting in terms of terrain, events, and the triathlon sports per se, what could be the best option to choose? pls give me inputs to weigh well if what to choose.

Most of my friends are having m-bike but i am not sure if this will be competitive during triathlon event.

thank you and greatly appreciated.

with RB, is it difficult to climb uphill ba(cemented road) or the same lng with mountain bikes. i tried RB (borrowed) then naglisud ko og uphill. same experience ba sa MB? or easier jud ang MB?

Depende pud sa imong kuyog.  If most kay mag ride sa road, better get a road bike.

I started with MTB because it is supposedly versatile, pwede bisan asa.  But 99% of the time naa man ko sa road so ended up selling her and getting a roadbike. :-)
