i noticed the bike leg is short for the run. if run is 10K total, bike should be 40K. should have been 5-40-5 or 3-25-3 distance.

mga bai, let's welcome this. at least we have another group wanting to organize a tri/du for us. though again, would have been better if the bike leg is longer. with that distance, it is a runners race.

maybe they can soon come up with a great tri event as well!

i think first time sa runcheck mo organize ug duathlon, nice move (they've been excellent in organizing fun runs here in cebu). A lot of runners venture immediately into triathlon but you hear a lot of runners/cyclists who can't swim efficiently. there are trail duathlons but i think this is the first road duathlon in cebu for the past 3 years. the bike leg is shorter coz its for runners who want to add another discipline. its better if there are more duathlons that will be organized in the coming days as a stepping stone to triathlon.
